I’ve been craving chocolate for several days… so what better to make than chocolate croissants? Nothing! They are super simple and we will see how they turn out!!
Website found from Pinterest:
1 cup of chocolate chips
1 package of Pillsbury buttery croissant rolls – 8 count
Pam- or other cooking spray
Step 1: Heat the oven to 425
Step 2: Unroll crescent rolls with the larger section facing you and place a small handful onto the roll.
Step 3: Roll the dough in a croissant shape.
Step 4: Brush egg onto the croissant. (This shouldn’t be very much egg, just enough to make the outside a nice golden brown, and I also used my fingers to brush on the egg because I didn’t want to make any more dishes.. lol)
Step 5: Place your croissants on a greased baking sheet evenly spread apart and not touching.
Step 6: Bake for 15-20 minutes (I honestly only baked for 13 minutes and they turned out perfect!)
Step 7: Heat up chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl for 30 seconds. Drizzle to your hearts content onto your chocolate croissant rolls 😉
Step 8: Voilà, It’s now time to enjoy!
I had a great time making these, and it only took about 20 minutes including prep and cook time! Super doable when in need of a quick dessert to impress your company.. or in my case ALL of my roommates ❤
